This post is an example, like the other two that ship with it: delete them whenever you want and start with your own.

What’s included

The idea is that the important things are solved from minute one, so you only worry about writing:

Two languages ready to go: English at
/
and Spanish at
/es/
, with a button to jump between them.

Search across the whole site with
Ctrl
/
⌘ + K
.

Light and dark mode that follows your system preference.

Social images generated for every post, with no design work on your part.

SEO handled: sitemap, RSS, metadata, and structured data.

How to write

Each post is a Markdown file inside
src/content/posts/
. You create the file, fill in four fields at the top (title, date, language, and category), and write. For the version in the other language, reuse the same file name in the other folder and the language button will link the two for you.

Write first, tidy later. The template is here to remove friction, not to add steps.

Take a look at the Writing with Markdown post to see everything you can use inside a post, and change it all to your liking from
src/site.config.json
.

There was no plan beyond walking, cooking something simple, and going to bed early. Sometimes that’s the best plan there is.

The walk

The first hour is always hard. Your legs complain, the backpack weighs more than you remembered, and your head is still back in the city. But at some point the pace settles, the conversation fades on its own, and all that’s left is the sound of boots on the dirt.

You don’t climb the mountain to reach the top. You climb so the city falls off your shoulders.

What I took home

We didn’t summit. We stopped halfway up the slope, watching the valley fill with fog, and that was just fine. I came back on Sunday tired, with a blister and a clearer head than I’d had in weeks.

Some things don’t get fixed by working more. They get fixed by walking for two days with no signal.

Use it as a reference while you write, and delete it once you no longer need it.

Every post starts with a small block of data (the frontmatter) between lines of three dashes:

---
title: "My post"
description: "A one- or two-sentence summary."
date: 2026-01-20
lang: en
category: notes
tags: ["Markdown"]
---

Headings

Use
##
for sections and
###
for subsections. The top level (
#
) is reserved for the title, so inside the text start at
##
. Headings show up on their own in the article’s side table of contents.

Text and emphasis

You can make text bold, italic, or
inline code
to refer to a command or a file name. Links work too and, if you need it, you can <del>strike</del> something through.

Lists

Unordered lists are good for loose ideas:

First point

Second point, with a detail

Third point

And ordered ones for steps that go in sequence:

Write the file

Fill in the frontmatter

Publish

Code

Inline code goes between backticks, like
pnpm dev
. For longer blocks, use three backticks and name the language so it gets highlighted. Each block comes with a copy button:

pnpm install
pnpm dev

function greet(name) {
 return `Hello, ${name}`;
}

console.log(greet("world"));

Tables

Tables are handy for comparing things at a glance:

Element

Syntax

What for?

Bold

**text**

Emphasize an idea

Link

[text](url)

Point to another page

Code

`code`

Name a command or a file

Quotes and images

Blockquotes highlight a sentence or a reference:

The best way to learn something is to write about it afterwards.

And images are inserted with a single line; they scale to the page width on their own:

That covers almost everything you’ll need. From here on, the rest is just writing.
